s14 Manual q's

When doing a manual swap on a 95 240sx s14 do you need a replacement ecu or any wiring harness, I've been told you can splice a few wires and be good? Any input is appreciated.

yes, the manual ECU has the correct programming to accomodate a manual transmission.

i did my swap using stock auto ecu,works perfectly fine been running is since 08
