I don't know what is going on with my car right now. The maf signal keeps dropping out on me. I'm using an safc to run a z32 maf and randomly the sensor voltage drops to nothing even when the car is on. When the maf signal drops out the car runs in defalt mode (2500 rpm limit and no boost). I have already swapped out the maf, swaped the safc, changed maf plug, checked the wiring on the maf plug and the safc wiring into the harnes. So far I have come up empty. Another weried thing is that when the maf signal dies i just unplug it, plug it back in and it reads voltage again. The car idels fine with the maf unpluged, but as soon as I reconect the maf it starts to idel super rough and sometimes stalls out. This is a new development that just started yesterday. Some one please help me before i set my car on fire!

try going back to an SR maf.

I'm going to swap the ecu and if that doesn't do it i'll switch back to a stock sr maf.
