Ever since i cut the wrong wire on my ECU trying to kill the speed limiter my check engine light came on. Peeps said to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours and that should kill the check engine light. i disconnected the batter for about 4 hrs. today and the check engine light still comes on ..... neone have ne other advice???

well...that is how you reset the ecu...maybe it's another problem...did u fix the wire you cut?
