Fresno, ca
anyone located in the fresno, ca area that can help me with my car? i’m not that experienced with 240s, recently the car has stopped going into gear, i’ve replaced the slave and master, deleted the damper box, nothing worked. before i drop the trans and look at the clutch and pressure plate i’d like another set of eyes to maybe see if they can find issue. i’m at a standstill.

This thread really should have been a post on the small question's thread, or at least in the regional section.

Was driving in the fucked 101 coming back from SF once and heard some noises in the trans. once i got to a stop the car wouldn't go into gear. turned the car off, it would go into gear. ended up putting the car in 1st gear, turned the car on to get it going and made it all the way home 5 or so miles in first gear. the pressure plate fucked itself, a couple of fingers off the plate flew off, it seized the assembly.
Not sure if that's your problem, but if you've bled the system and can see the clutch fork engaging when you push the pedal then it's not the hydraulics. |
