Asus A7V Motherboard 128Megs PC 100 Ram Hercules 3D Prophet 2 MX Video card Sound Blaster Live sound card 19inch monitor and a very LOUD fan that annoys the crap out of me! This is my 3rd system Ive built from scratch over the years as Ive upgraded. My wife now uses my old Celleron 400Mhz, Ive got them both hooked to a Linksys router and a cable modem. So now when my buddies come over we can play Need For Speed High Stakes in the same room and throw things at each other!! Im a gamer as well as a racer Too many damned hobbies! |

750mhz T-bird
30gb Quantum 7200 partitioned into 2 15gb (one for me, one for my girlfriend) 15 maxtor 7200 win98se...soon to be xp lowly 392 pc133 sdram soundblaster live platinum voodoo5500 AGP 17" Samsung 750IFT dsl 640/256k coolermaster case(gold pins baby!) nothing much...but I'm happy with it. if anyone needs a slotA athlon...let me know...I have 2 sitting around. one 500(was overclocking to 800), and one 650(overclocked to 750) computer games yes! a must for any racing fan....sportscar GT, need4speed Highstakes, F1 Championship 2001, crimson skies, Baldurs GateI & II. If anyone plays any of these online...let me know.... also, has anyone played a direct-TCP/IP connection multiplayer game? I'm talking about not in the same room, through the internet, but not through a game server....I'd love to do a little online racing...but I can't find a game server that's using either sportscar GT or Need4speed. Wow another CS junkie!
Hey 240sxnewbie, come check out my gaming group (read not a clan) at www.fossilrockers.com its more of a community than a clan we've got over 300 members all over 25 from all around the world, and we play just about everything. If you are over 25 I could sponsor you or you could just come play on one of our public servers. [CoFR]Blacksheep squadron 66.80.32.114:27015 is usually pretty busy and you'll meet alot of us there. Yes we freely admit we are men playing a boys game And most of us probably married our mothers LOL Ill probably be on that server between 5&7pm today. Krunko have you tried Operation Flashpoint yet? Ive been holding back bacause I really want my exhaust but I played the demo and it is encredible. And btw how did those wires and plugs go? Sorry for hijacking this thread guys (Edited by mrace240sx at 5:10 am on Oct. 17, 2001) |

Gaming?
Yeah i have all the latest games. Just got RED FACTION. Top game! Multiplayer isnt happening for me though. Says my data is different when i try to join a server. I`ve always played TFC (not so much anymore). CS looks great but i`ve never been able to get the hang of it. How in gods name are you supposed to tell the terrorists and antiterrorists apart??? especially when you only have a split second to act. If i was good at it i`d love it cos of the way you know nearing the end of a round all the players are watching YOU! Currently 1/2 way through Serious Sam Undying Soldier of fortune Max Payne I can never finish anyt...................... |
