Correct!

The rear bars must go to the strut towers, not the the bar that connects the strut towers.

decided to modify the bash bar up. it can actually be flipped upside down as well and still work with the angled bar running under the headlights.

What are you guys constructing your "bash bars" out of? Are you just making them strong enough to support the bumper cover (and save weight over the stock support), or are they actually strong enough to protect your FMIC/radiator?

They are glued in from the backside with OEM yellow high temp hot glue. What I like about it is that the glue can be peeled off, with some effort if necessary, in case a unit goes bad or if they just need to be removed for any reason.

Another installed picture:

Stainless needs at least a MIG with the correct wire and gas to weld well. Flux core isn't going to work well, lots of sugaring and brittleness.

Not flux core buddy...sorry. It can be mig welded with stainless wire and tri-mix gas.

Thinking of picking up a miller diversion 180, maybe 165. Anyone comment on these? Will be used mostly for manifold fabrication, exhaust and IC piping type jobs. I like the household plugin feature. I like to help friends out on their projects and most don't have 220 in their garage so the 180 allows me to do 1/8'' stuff for them. I haven't welded in some time but I hate paying someone else to do the work for me.

I've used the same one, 3/4" bore. I loved it. I had it mounted as a pull setup.
