What are you guys constructing your "bash bars" out of? Are you just making them strong enough to support the bumper cover (and save weight over the stock support), or are they actually strong enough to protect your FMIC/radiator?

Nice of you to answer Jonnie, but that is just a very clever spam bot.
Notice the "Download and Burn Wii Games" links? Damn Spam.

Broadfield - What's going to keep them from falling back when you install it?

Stainless needs at least a MIG with the correct wire and gas to weld well. Flux core isn't going to work well, lots of sugaring and brittleness.

Thinking of picking up a miller diversion 180, maybe 165. Anyone comment on these? Will be used mostly for manifold fabrication, exhaust and IC piping type jobs. I like the household plugin feature. I like to help friends out on their projects and most don't have 220 in their garage so the 180 allows me to do 1/8'' stuff for them. I haven't welded in some time but I hate paying someone else to do the work for me.

I've used the same one, 3/4" bore. I loved it. I had it mounted as a pull setup.
