Hello all-

I need to ask a quick favor from someone.

I recently picked up a used AVC-R control unit from a friend, who said it was sitting in storage for a while so he can't say with certainty that it works correctly.

I wanted to ask someone in the San Diego or Orange County area with a working AVC-R installed: if I can try plugging my control unit into your harness, to verify that the display lights up and that all of the buttons work?

It would literally take five minutes, we just need to unplug your controller's connector, attach mine, turn key to on position, verify functions, then we are done! Shouldn't even require starting the car.

I will buy you a cali burrito and/or a six pack for your troubles, and will deliver.

I just want to make sure this thing works before I go to the trouble of pulling out my TruBoost and running the APEX'i harness through the firewall.
