SR sr20 idle surge and bucking on light throttle

Hi all! I just got my sr and installed and swapped over from auto...

It ran ok when I first got the car back, but it wouldn't idle and the idle would surge when it would.

Now it wont really idle, and it has a really bad bucking when just barely on the throttle... sorta like if i were to go on and off the throttle really quickly.

i was looking at it and i noticed that the arm on the throttle doesn't contact the arm on the tps until it hits like 1/8th throttle, is that where my bucking problem is coming from?

any ideas? ive spent way too much money on this thing and it sucks that it doesn't run still!!! grr

some new info... I went and got some carb cleaner/ brake cleaner and started spraying it at vacuum lines and seals...

when i spray it at the seal between the throttle body and the intake manifold the idle drops and the engine wants to die... but everything ive read about doing the carb cleaner trick says the idle is supposed to get better, but this sounds like the opposite...? any ideas?

That's not always true. Sometimes it makes it better sometimes it makes it worse. Look like u found your problem.

Well I fixed the idle problem, that was because of a bad throttle body seal.... But the bucking still remains. Fortunately though I think I have narrowed it down to the tps... I can now reproduce the bucking when in neutral and just revving. When I disconnect the tps it goes away. Does that sound right to you guys?
