2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V brakes = Brembo? Direct bolt on to 5 lug?
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/29/l...ra-se-r-spec-v
So what do you guys think? Cheaper alternative to z32 brakes? brembo caliper = direct fit maybe?

Those don't look like Brembos.
But the older models Brembos came as an option and that has already been discussed. And also I dont think using Brembos will be a cheaper alternative to z32 upgrade as those are pretty easy to get a hold of and cheap. Use the search function. Good luck! |

Those are NOT Brembos, nor do they even remotely look like anything Brembo produces.
That's like asking if a 240SX is a Ford F150, and does it carry the same payload. |

People have already stated those are not Brembo....but I have to say...they are not a cheaper alternative as well.

why does it matter, 3z is way cheaper and easier to find, and if u need a bigger rotor, get the SPL adapter and use 350z rotors
i thought nissan wasn't happy with brembo anyways after the G35 sport brakes were subpar |

They do...Nissan wants to have brand identity between all their models. Infiniti brand is a bit more subtle...mainly in the taillights.

i dont know why anyone in this thread even mentions the supposed "high cost" to OEM Z32 brakes. I mean, come on.. wake the fuck up.. thats DIRT cheap. You can find these things just about anywhere and they do not cost much at all. All you need is a few hundred bucks and some BALLS to install the fucking things. Done deal. If you need better, buy wilwood. |

the brakes in the picture posted are the ABS brakes... remember brembo's are an option. my 06 has abs which are identical to the ones shown.
the brembo's on the 07 are the same as the 03+ , I rather get some grex, rotora, project mu's instead of doing these swaps... wilwood...not my favorite team among brakes. brembo's are just heavy... ohh yeah k-sport makes some pretty good brakes as well

Mike, I remember reading over on FreshAlloy that Nissan/Infiniti dropped the Brembo's from the G35 Sport, and several members mentioned complaints about less-than-expected performance and excessive wear. Did Nissan ever come up with their own "big" brakes for the G-Sport, or did they just dump Brembo?
The 350Z kept the Brembos, so maybe it was just a case of G owners bitching about nothing. |

Fusion is what I was thinking of but god dang it even has similarities to the Focus. Weakkk. With the Fusion it shares the headlights and the entire front fascia practically!
