Hi again. My car's clutch gets stuck occasionally and i have to use my feet to pop it back up. Has this happened to anyone else? It doesnt happen all the time, but once in a while it gets stuck. Also, my clutch squeaks which sounds horrible. any advice? thanks.

gets stuck or the pedal doesnt return? if thats the case sounds like you have either a leak in your lines or air in your sys. bleed your clutch first and see if that disappears.
as for the squeaking see if your pedal bushing is worn if so replace it its like 2 bucks from nissan |

I have the same problem. I agree the squeaking is terrible. I sprayed some WD40 above the pedel, where the spring is, and the noise went away. It also got rid of the sticking. But that only lasts for so long. BTW how do you bleed your clutch, And what does it do??

to bleed your clutch
1.raise your vehicle 2.have someone pump the clutch pedal a few times 3.use a 10 mm line wrench to loosen the dampner (this is the part just before the slave cylinder) fluid comes out re tighten repeat step 2 then repeat step 3. next part again repeat step 2 4. using 10 mm line wrench loosin bleeder screw on slave cylinder (this is mounted on the trans case itself) let fluid drain and retighten repeat steps 2 and 4 till satisfied note: keep an eye on your master cylinders fluid level it goes by fast. also remeber the clutch pedal will not return automatically it is not under vacuum like a brake pedal so the person pumping the clutch would need to pull it up hope this helps and remeber the 240s system is one of the most annoying systems to bleed ask any nissan tech |

Hi, it did the same thing to me once (it was pouring outside, so much i couldnt see nothing in front of me.. so i pulled over and when the weather was better, i tried to go in first gear and it wouldn't plus my pedal was stuck ?!?!?!?!) So i did bleed the clutch afterwise.. and it did it again once... during rain (plus horn beeped by itself ?!?!? and died on me then ) Anyways, my solution is to stay in on rainy days... lol
