2009 NISMO 370Z officially priced from $39,130
06-17-2009 09:58 AM
Filed under: Sports/GTs, Nissan 2009 Nissan NISMO 370Z - Click above for image gallery The hardcore NISMO 370Z first appeared in April at the New York Auto Show, but Nissan didn't stick a price tag on it at that time. Those interested in the ultimate in factory Z performance now know that they will have to save up $39,130 in order to get a taste. For that near 40 grand price tag, pretty much everything is included on this late-to-the-party 2009 model. The only options available for the NISMO are back-lit sill plates, carpeted floor mats and a carpeted trunk mat, none of which do anything to make the NISMO any quicker. All of the go-faster bits are included in price of admission, including an upgraded 3.7-liter V6 that bumps power from 332 to 350 horsepower, and torque nudges from 270 to 275 pound-feet. Like the standard Z, the NISMO gets SynchroRev matching for its close-ratio gearbox, and unique five-spoke 19-inch wheels work with the upgraded suspension and brakes to get the most out of that more powerful engine. Needless to say, the car's airflow get a substantial reworking thanks to the less-than-subtle aerodynamics package. Check out the full press release after the jump and the high-res galleries below. That car looks like it wants to be a porsche, but just does not have all the asthetics together to pull it off. Looks decent either way and I'm sure the aero is functional.

Looks fantastic.
Wheels are really interesting. I would go spoilerless. Srsly though, canards and GT wing+more low = GORGEOUS. Oh yeah, 19x13 TE37's in the rear? WHAAAT they don't make that size? They should.

looks just as shitty as the 350z nismo... the regular non nismo 350z and 370z look so much better then these turds and they really dont have much of any improvment over there non nismo cars.

[QUOTE][At Tsukuba, the Nismo 350Z recorded a lap time of 1:05.9, some 1.3 seconds quicker than the most aggressive model of the standard 350Z. The Nismo 350Z turns in sharper, corners quicker with less body roll, and both squats less under acceleration and dives less under braking./QUOTE] |

i should have included for the price in my statement. for the difference you could buy aftermarket crap and out do the nismo car. but w/e either way i dont like the way it looks. also why is it that the gtr and other cars like 911's and what not can look good and handle well.. eh like i said i really dont care about this car.
