Take the t-tops out, cut some and put in some custom cut glass. It'll be different and unique but so much cleaner. Now if your going for the Butch look then keep them, throw some over fenders on drop it on some steel rims. Its your car and who cares if its "all original".

Looks to have ALOT of potiental! It actually looks a lot like my 260 when I picked it up. There isn't much for S30s happening on zilvia recently my suggestion is if you plan on upgrading the car any at all, hit up hybridz.org. That site is an awesome resource when building any Z!
Good luck with your project, and keep us updated on the build. |

hey! I used to have a 240sx but have since sold it. I've always been in the z game since younger years, so now i have a 1971 240z also and a 72 240z parts car, currently my 71 has a l28 with header and cam, and a few nick nacks. Your z doesnt look to bad, keep it, get it road worthy and drive it as a work in progress and slowly restore and mod it. You will enjoy it and that way you wont lose interest in it. z's are getting rare, especially our years. Someone will easily pay 1,000 if you just cleaned it up.
i bought mine for 700$ with no glass, and put glass in it and cleaned it all up and ive been offered 3,000$ and its worth it. Where is your rust at? hows the interior? If you have any questions about the car just hit me up! and if you need some parts let me know, like i said i have a parts car. its pretty rusty and stripped alreay but i may have what you're looking for! goodluck sir |
