battery is relocated in the rear, is it possible to just run 2 wires from the battery directly to the pump, then just add a switch?

this happened to my RB rip your fuel pump out and make sure everything is still wired good if youve replaced it or still good to just check anyways then put it back in try to start it up if that doesnt work its your MAF make sure the plug is plugged it snug and rap a zip tie around it to make sure it is then make sure your MAF and air filter and connected to the silicon hose that runs to your motor... those were my problems with my RB and SR

the ground wire on the fuel pump housing is disconnected, but with all the testing that doesnt seem like it would be the problem would it?

so i got the car running by hooking the quick disconnect through a switch to the battery, will this be ok for a temp fix, or could it be damaging?
