sohc, car turns, but no spark!!!
ahh so the other day i was driving and out of nowhere, my car just turns off, and it wouldnt start. so i had it towed home. to try and figure it out. so theres no spark, and i got a new coil. and the resistor thats underneath it, and yet still no spark. any ideas?

how would it be the distributor and not the coil if the "COIL" is not putting out spark

just changed the ECU it got spark, but still is not starting going to try and find a different ECU

make sure you check all your wires leading to the coil and also to the mafs. this happened to my brother on his sohc 240sx. we swapped in electric fans and one wire somehow got down into the fan blades and barely cut the wire. i discovered this after we changed out rotor button and distributer. he was driving it and all the sudden it started to die and shut off. this was the issue on his.

got the car running, the ECU was fried along with the chassis harness wires, and the injectors were bad.
