Question GM 3bar map sensor wiring? please help

ok i got a GM 3bar map sensor and AEM ECU 30-6022, i am ttrying to get everything ready to take it and get it tuned by next week. the question i have is how do you wire up the 3 bar map sensor? i have the universal plug that i need to wire up, im wondering if any one has a pic or info on color codes to make wiring it to the ecu easier, like red(+) pin1 black(-) pin2 and what ever color corresponds to pin3 and where i wire them up to? and what gauge wire would be best to use? 16g? 14g? some one told me the 3bar map sensor goes wired up to the oem mafs harness is this true? please help thanks!

GM harness----------wire Function-------------Stock harness

A--------------------Ground---------------------Pin 26 or sensor ground

B--------------------Map Signal-----------------Pin 35

C--------------------+5 volts-------------------Pin 37

I'm NOT positive on the GM sensor pin-out, just what I could find. The pinout for the ECU came from the instructions for your EMS, wasn't that hard to search for it.

It's an s14 sr20det, the ecu is an AEM 30-6620 it's the new AEM 2 ecu sorry about the # type-o I must be dyslexic lol. I also had another question where is the best place to mount the air temp sensor? I've read that the intake manifold is best but some say it's to close to the motor and some say the cold pipe is best about 6" from the throttle body, I was thinking of going with the cold pipe will that work fine?

God, you're killing me lol.

The pins still work for the 6620 aha

GM harness----------wire Function-------------Stock harness

A--------------------Ground---------------------Pin 26
B--------------------Map Signal-----------------Pin 35
C--------------------+5 volts-------------------Pin 37

We have the map and the temp sensor both on the cold pipe with no issues.

ok man just got the aem ecu in today, the instructions tell me

map sensor which are
red (5v)-----------------> pin 48 = +5v sensor reference power
green (map signal)----> pin 35 = power steering oil press sw (sr20det only)
black (-)------------------> pin 30 = sensor ground

and the AIT sensor are
pin 36 = (_)

pin 30 sensor ground

and the pins you have listed are:

pin 26 = mafs ground
pin 35 = boost pressure sensor (sr20det only)
pin 37 = mafs pin D (ca18det-non cat model only)

so i guess just go with the ecu instructions?
one more question instead of wiring the air temp sensor to pin 30 (sensor ground) can i just run the wire to a body ground? or does it have to go to the ecu?
thanks for the help man i appreciate it!

ok guys so i got my sr20det from JesusFast and well my aem is 6610. He has the ait sensor on the intake just like a maf would be there. I have been searching for 2 days and a lot of people say to put it on the cold pipe. Should I redo what he already did and had it tuned for? Also need to do the wiring for the map,ait and boost for the aem thanks.

Ait install on aem website is this
Wiring to your EMS: Polarity does not matter. Take one wire and tap it to sensor ground at the ECU connector and take
the other wire and hook it up directly to the AIT (air intake temp) sensor input on the EMS. Please reference your EMS
instructions for pin out details and locations.

now the gm 3 bar map sensor dont know they sell differnt ones on there site

now for boost control here it is

Electrical Connection: Polarity is unimportant. Hook
one wire to switched 12 Volts and the other to the AEM
EMS’s PW2 output or the driving devices boost control
line. NOTE: on the SRT4 EMS 30-1510 PW2 outputs +12V.
Hook up one wire to PW2 and one wire to ground.
If you are not sure please refer to your EMS instructions/pin
out sheet and verified the polarity output on PW2.
When energized, ports 1 & 2 are connected, when
de-energized, ports 2 & 3 are connected. The port
numbers are clearly noted on the solenoid body.

i have my pinout to my 62 ecu wiring harness and the aem as well going to do some of the wiring well the engine is out of the car since its geting paint any help will be great thanks
