NEW TRIXslotted & BLACK ZINC rotors/Full Brembo Brake kits from $379.00 SUPER SALE

NEW TRIXslotted & BLACK ZINC rotors/Full Brembo Brake kits from $379.00 (special pricing for Zilvia.net members)

300zx(Z32) Brembo upgrade kits $629.00:
The 300zx calipers are remanufactured to OEM Nissan specs and include all new seals, bleeder valves, and hardware. Appearance and performance will be just like new from the factory.

NEW TRIXslotted & BLACK ZINC rotors/Full Brembo Brake kits from $379.00 (special pricing for Zilvia.net members)We offer a wide variety of machining and plating to customize your order to your individual preferences and purpose.

TRIXslotted and BLACK ZINC coated rotors:
Give your 240 the JDM circuit performance look with this new style. TRIXslotted rotors give maximum initial bite and stopping power for the extreme enthusiast or racer. The black zinc will wear off the contact patch only and will become silver. The hat, edges, slots and dimples of the rotor will remain black zinc. In my opinion, the silver and black zinc combo looks very nice and in appearance and resembles the look of a 2 piece rotor.

Full Kits consists of
4 rotors
2 sets of brake pads
Steel braided lines
Racing fluid

1) 4 Stock sized Zinc Coated Brembo. Your choice of drilling:
(See below for DRILLING DEFINITIONS)
All rotors are CNC machined for precision and balancing and then are Zinc coated for aesthetic appearance and to prevent rusting. (a rusted rotor will ruin the look of a nice rim and tire combo)

2) 2 Sets of PBR Metal Matrix Pads (Front and Rear):
These are the same semi metallic pads the $tillen repackages and puts their name on to sell. They create 30% less dust than stock pads.

3) Set of Steel braided lines (Front and Rear)
Made by Technafit, Steel braided lines help eliminate brake hose expansion, due to boiling fluid, which leads to a "mushy" brake pedal and eventually braid fade due to the loss in fluid pressure to the caliper. These replace and will not expand like the stock rubber brake hoses.

4) Racing Brake fluid.
The Super Blue Racing brake fluid is designed to have a higher boiling point. When conventional fluid boils, the heat causes the brake lines to expand. Bottle contain more than enough for proper bleeding of the brake system once installed.

(PACKAGE 1: STOCK 240 UPGRADE BRAKE KIT) $399.00
Kit consists of:
4 stock size drilled and slotted Zinc coated Brembo rotors
(your choice of cross drilled or dimple drilled)
2 sets of PBR Metal Matrix brake pads
Steel braided lines
Super Blue Racing brake fluid

(PACKAGE 2: 300ZX FRONT BRAKE CONVERSION KIT) $629.00
I offer a full conversion kit to install the big brakes from a Nissan 300zx twinturbo on your 240sx. The 300zx brake upgrade package for the 89-98 Nissan 240sx consists of:
300zx 4 piston 30mm aluminum calipers
300zx Brembo drilled and slotted rotors
PBR/Axis Metal Master or Ultimate Ceramic pads
Special conversion steel braided lines (to integrate the caliper to the 240sx’s brake components) and 240sx rear lines
Super Blue Racing brake fluid

(PACKAGE 3: 300ZX FULL BRAKE UPGRADE KIT) $789.00
Kit consists of :
300zx 4 piston 30mm aluminum calipers
300zx Brembo drilled, slotted and Zinc coated rotors
PBR/Axis Metal Master or Ultimate Ceramic pads
Special conversion steel braided lines (to integrate the caliper to the 240sx’s brake components)
240 stock sized Brembo drilled, slotted and Zinc coated rear rotors
240 rear pads
240 rear steel braided lines
Super Blue Racing brake fluid

If you already have the 300zx calipers,
(PACKAGE 4: SAME AS ABOVE WITHOUT CALIPERS) $435.00

INDIVIDUAL PRICING:
300zx 30mm Calipers $250.00 (pair)
300zx front rotors $134.95 (pair)
S13 or S14 front rotors $104.95 (pair)
S13 or S14 rear rotors $104.95 (pair)
PBR Metal master Pads $45.00 set (front or rear)
Axis Ultimate Pads $45.00 set (front or rear)
300zx master cylinder $119.95

ROTOR DRILLING DEFENITIONS:

The purpose of cross-drilled slotted, or dimple rotors are to dissipate heat caused by aggressive driving condition.

CROSS DRILLED: Holes are drilled through the rotor increase the surface area and to promote the dissipation of heat. It will prolong the life to the pads, rotors and improve stopping power. It also shed off water under-wet driving condition.

SLOTTED: Lines a trimmed out of the surface of the rotors to dissipate heat and increase bite. Slotted rotors will bring up the operation temperature of the braking components much faster over cross-drilled, yet it dissipates the heat at the same time. The added bite will reduce the stopping distance. Slotted rotors do not sacrifice the structural integrity of the rotor.

DIMPLED: Gives the appearance of cross-drilled rotors without sacrificing the structural integrity of the rotor. It also does not wear the pad as much as an all slotted design.

Cross-drilled/slotted or dimple/slotted will give you the best combination of performance and longevity. It will dissipate heat and increase bite for better stopping power.

The machined slot in our slotted rotors does not run over to the edge of the rotor. Slotting the rotor over the edge will weaken the structural integrity of the rotor as it creates weak points.

OTHER INFO:
Each set of rotors are custom precision CNC drilled to order, for dimple or cross-drilled and fitment for 4 and 5 lug 240s. Shipping and be $40-$45.00 depending on the kit and destination. Kit packages can weigh 80-120lbs

shouldn't it be painfully obvious that any coating of any kind would be worn off with the application of brake pads to the surface of a rotor?

Read the entire fucking post before commenting. If you don't like the look of the Zinc, then buy the the non-coated rotors. Now, if you have a legitimate question for the seller, feel free to post. If not, then SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Black zinc rotors after plating wears off

Here is a picture of the rotors after the black zinc has worn off the contact surface where the pad meets the rotor. The plating does wear off immedidately after the proper break in proceedure.** In my opinion, these still look very attractive and give a very unique JDM style appeal. Customers state they enjoy the look as it ressembles and gives an apearance of a two-peice rotor.

** The proper break in procedure consists of several (6-8) runs of aggresive braking from 60-75mph to 20mph. This will properly marry/bed in the pads to the rotors. If you have to come to a complete stop, make sure to release the brake pedel immediately after you complete the stop and hold the car with the e brake. Since the metal rotors have not been tempered yet(as they are brand new), they tend to be the softest and most prone to warping by leaving the brake pads pressed against the rotors. Heat tempered is the process where metal is continuously heated up and cooled down over and over again yeilding strenght. This is acheived with normal use of the braking system.

hmmm...

How long will this be going on?
By this right here "300zx front rotors $134.95 (pair)" you mean that they are 300ZX front rotors and they could be used for front and rears?

Also... does Package 3 do all 4 or just fronts or rears?
Does this "240 stock sized Brembo drilled, slotted and Zinc coated rear rotors"
mean that it will have 240sx size specs?
