s13 HKS Exhaust Fitment

I just got done installing the Hi-power (65mm) exhaust on my S13. Everything went great except for the alignment. First off, the tip is sitting behind the bumper. I thought it was supposed to sit flush with it. And secondly, the exhaust is sitting offset to the left to where it's just-barely touching the bumper. I have provided pix to illustrate:

I have yet to change out the hangers. I hope to receive (in the mail), the Circuit Sports Hangers that I ordered, either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm not really all that concerned, just want to make sure that this isn't a regular occurring problem.

If any of you with the same exhaust, or know of someone with it, PLEASE HELP! Worst comes to worse, I'll see how I can modify the hangers the push the canister to the right a bit more.

Thanks is advance!

You have an aftermarket bumper. The HKS is designed to fit in the stock location.

I figured as much. I'm pretty sure it's because the exhaust sits flush with the OEM bumper. And, it being, that I have an aftermarket one, it won't reach. Well, I'm going to be adjusting the hangers tomorrow with a heat gun. Thanks you guys.

I had a similar fitment problem with this exhaust on my S13. One of the hangers (the one before the muffler) was bent 90* the wrong way. I just used a couple metal hose clamps to fix it. So who knows? It could be tweaked slightly to the left. And yeah, Im sure the aero isnt helping your case, lol.
