U.S Cargo Plane Crashes in Bagram Airfield Afghanistan. Killing 7 Americans
Report says the Taliban claims that it was their attack but U.S thinks otherwise. There were 5 heavy military vehicles in that cargo plane which weights 12 ton a piece and one of the vehicle came loose and shifted weight causing the accident. Whichever the reason was, RIP to those personnel. Last edited by K_style; 05-02-2013 at 10:22 AM.. |

While loss of life is always a terrible thing, at least show some respect and get the info right. Firstly, they were civilian personnel. Secondly i was there, i saw it crash. No talibam action at all, they are just talking shit..And lastly...Shit was pretty fucked to watch. Not something i would wish on anybody to wish...Fireball was huge though...

It took off heading northways towards the mountains....Also no matter the craft all planes take off depending on which way the wind is blowing...not to include rotary craft....Although i will add that the wind that day was out of control. Honestly i think that played a major part in the crash as well..

I remember hearing development of some years ago on a history show, but they kept running into the issue of the chairs coming back and hitting the plane, that show never said if they continued research or not.

It's still under investigation. Could have been a flight control malfunction, wind, flame out, avionics... any number or combination of things that had absolutely nothing to do with human error. Good people are dead. Show some respect & save the finger pointing for the pros.
