Thank you, hopefully this thread will help alot of people. I didn't make my mount kit because I simply don't have a whole lot of experience welding and I don't have alot of free time. Ill be able to answer just about any question asked though. So far as easy as this has been I may build a 2nd to sell. S13 trunk of course. Im thinking vq30 no nats ftw!

haha looks like you removed the top half of the plenum just like i did.. let me know if your throttle body bumps your firewall. mine did. had to tap it with a hammer to get it to fit right.

**update**
First things first, a 5at yoke will work with a 6mt trans! i snapped a few more pics of my engine setup, but the big thing is i got my pedal, obdii port, and yoke. ive got pictures of it all so here they are. as always any questions just ask. yes i realize my swaybar is dropped its just to clear everything. sitting one y33 mounts like a champ. just mocked up my shifter sits just as high as stock, perfect for sleeping. ] 240sx off nismo on! my 5at yoke! the only thing i see different for the two is the collar its spot welded on so im taking it off. ] and last but not least, m obdii port and gas pedal!

I used my swap one, it was just a little lighter than the stocker. Im guessing the g35/z swap has to do with transmission lengths as well as the collar. Ill be making the wiring wrightup pretty soon here too! Expect some results.

alright im getting to the throttle pedal, ive got a question before i get started. my fsm is telling me one thing and the colors dont match up of course, and visual inspection is telling me another. i snapped a pic of the plug, one side of the pins is in gold and the other in silver. the fsm tells me to switch the middle gold and silver plugs. is this correct?

*WARNING*
The following information is based on a 2003 350z wiring diagram, checked against JWT's 350z wiring diagram and the ECU pinout available on multiple sites Z33 Gas pedal plug E123 pinout goes like this Plug Pin Color ECU Pin Color(if color changed) What its labled Pin 1 Green/Red ----------- Pin 83---------------- GndA2 Pin 2 Red/Yellow ---------- Pin 98 (Green/Blk) --- ApS2 Pin 3 Black/White --------- Pin 82 --------------- GndA Pin 4 Black/Orange ------- Pin 91--------------- AVC C2 Pin 5 Yellow --------------- Pin 106 (Grn/Orng) -- Aps1 Pin 6 Blue ------------------ Pin 90 (LghtGrn)----- AVC C Z33 OBDII Plug goes as follows 1 emtpy 2 empty 3 empty 4 Black (Ground) Behind instrument cluster Plug M30 5 Black/White (Ground) Right side of dash Plug F152 (Turns black at plug) 6 Blue (CAN Line H) 7 Purple (K line) 8 Green/Yellow 10amp Hot IN or ON Start 9 Empty 10 Empty 11 Empty 12 Empty 13 Empty 14 Empty 15 Red (CAN Line-L) 16 Red/White 15amp Hot At All Times *THESE LINES CONNECT TO OTHER DEVICES AS WELL BUT THIS IS JUST THE SIMPLIFIED WIRING INFORMATION DOUBLE CHECK TO SEE IF THE NON-LISTED DEVICES ARE USED WITH YOUR SETUP BEFORE ELIMINATING THEM FROM THE HARNESS* * Pin 6 Blue Can line H goes to ECU Pin 94 * Pin 7 Purple K goes to ECU pin 85 but turns Light Green somewhere in the harness * Pin 15 Red Can Line L goes to ECU pin 86 At this point all that is left is a the dash plug pinouts, and power and ground pinout to get a tachometer signal you are going to need a greddy 6 cyl signal adapter, otherwise you will blow out coils OR you can use a gauge cluster that is designed for CAN

according to several different sources, which I don't know the reliability of this information is
If you get an aftermarket tach that can drive from 1 cyl fire then you can tap into pin 62, also if you use the S-AFC controller that would be the pin you would tap into as well

The ONLY thing I needed for tach was dakota digital tach converter. My signal if from a single coil signal. It's a weak signal and I've heard the injector signal is stronger.
