I don't know about Random Technologies. I bought one of their cats and on my car (an 97 s14), it replaces the hollow cat looking thing and not the actual cat. I called them and asked what good it was and they said the stock hollow thing causes turbulance and their cat would smooth that out. So, if that is all it does...

wa-fu....the random tech hi-flow cat is a cat......it should be replacing the real cat, not the fake one...why did you decide to replace the fake one? well, think about it this way...now you're sure to pass emissions, as you're running 2 cats.

Just go to your local muffler shop and ask them to replace your cat with a Dynomax V8 cat. All V8 cats are hi-flow, and pretty inexpensive.

Regarding the Random technology Cat, I was talking with Dave, from there and he says they sell a 2.5" down pipe is a direct fit to stock headers and will then connect to the new R.T. Cat. It takes out the stock cat, so that you will only have the new one. The model number is 352501 and sells for 192.50 if you are curious.
