EDIT: I just saw this movie a few days ago (on bootleg) and I can't stop quoting it.. I've been kicking in door's while singing,"DYNAMITE! DYNAMITE!" and is my new ring tone..

Trust me Phlip,this movie is full of win and "Kung fu treachery".. I've watched the full movie twice and even the trailers still make me laugh..

I caught a preview a few weeks ago on a flick I rented from video store. Then last Friday my dude called and said he had it on DVD and that he was on his way over, that's how I caught it.. He just told me today (an hour ago) that the DVD we watched was a bootleg

, I didn't even notice.. A quick check of the Internets tells me that "it will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on February 2, 2010",but is in select US theaters now.

Michael Jai White is actually a pretty damn good martial artist (that wretched spawn movie did him very little justice) this coupled with the obvious over the top tone should make for a pretty epic experience. I'm gonna watch the hell outta this.

Yeah this was the best comedy of the year imo!
Definitely the most under-rated movie of 2009, by far.

Before you watch it,
Do yourself a favor, and watch the blaxploitation classics from the 70's first!
Stuff like Superfly, Dolemite, Black Cesar, etc.

I doubt you would get some of the content in Black Dynamite otherwise.
TONS of details and quotes.
You could watch this over & over.
This is a real treat.

After watching the movie AGAIN I noticed that the 3 "bitches" were all pornstars and some of the other dancers were too. This movie is GREAT everyone needs to see this movie! It's like every blaxploitation plot rolled into one!

So is there like a blaxploitation revival happening now or something? This looks funny as hell, cheezy in a Snakes on Plane sortofway that the actual movie is the punchline, I'm gonna have to watch this...probably show my dad who grew up in that era, haha.

Ahhh man i love this movie.

I love the part where he runs into the lab with the chinese dude, a briefcase hits the chinese guy in the face and then black dynamite yells "HAHA!!!!! I threw that shit before i came in the room!!!!"

I hope the pilot is successful. I checked out the video and it's exactly how I imagined a Black Dynamite cartoon. Seems like they got all of the original cast for the voice work too.
