Help with z32 lsd swap into s13
Ok I have read so many different things about doing this I am dizzy and confused. I have a diff out of a 1991 z32 n/a that I want to swap in the s13. I have read that to do this you need to swap the rear cover and output shafts but I need 240sx lsd output shafts..On the other hand I have also read that you dont need to do this and I can just reuse my regular old s13 non lsd output shafts. Now I have already taken out my s13 diff and swapped over the rear cover and 6 bolt output shafts onto the z32 unit and it seems to be fine without the lsd output shafts..Can anyone chime in here before I go and attempt the daunting task of putting this thing back on my car?? Thanks in advance

Word.
I would also get the Z32 5 bolt axles or J30. 5 bolt is stronger than our 6 bolt axles. You could find a Super Hicas 240sx and get that VLSD and it has stock 6 bolts, no mods needed. Just very difficult to find... Or find a 95+ J30 with 6 bolt VSLD. =) |
