I'll take a picture of the one I have in my car tomorrow, but to answer your question not really it depends in which slot you put it in and how long is your shift knob. If you check back tomorrow it should answer your question.

I have a stock shift knob, and I have this in my top din pocket, and I could shift just fine. Through all gears too.

I also have it in my top din pocket and I have a leather Nismo shift knob I can shift just fine through 1,3,5 without it getting in the way.
