will 01 maxima rotors work with z32 calipers

hey guys i have been searching around but cant seem to find a solid answer. I am in need of 26mm front rotors to go with the 26mm z32 calipers i picked up recently.

After some research online i have found that the 01 maximas used the 280x26mm rotors as well with the 5 lug bolt pattern. Can i use these rotors.

If i cannot is there another rotor i can use other than the z 26mm rotors. Noone around here has the 26mm rotors and I am in need of them today/tomorrow and cant afford the $100 it will take to ship some overnight.

Thanks again.

Double check the hat height on the Maxima rotors against the 26mm Z32 rotors and you'll have your answer right there.

I know Brembo's site has dimensions of their rotors on their site... just gotta find the 1 page.

And I'm assuming you have the old Z32 26mm rotors? If so, just measure the hat height on that, then compare that to the results that you've found from Brembo's site, and voila.

If you dont know how to measure, just find both info on the brembo site.
1. find the hat height of the maxima
2. find the hat height of the z32 na
3. compare.

I THINK Brembo took the info of the 26mm Z32 rotors off of there, as they no longer sell them.

Although, I think the hat height of the 26mm rotor should be the same as the 30mm rotors...

Damn, it was too early in the morning for me when I made my first reply... now that I'm a little more awake, I just thought of that lol

They DO still sell the 26mm z rotors. I know that because I can get them for CHEAP from my supplier.

Nice.

Last I checked I couldn't get them anymore, thus the "they stopped selling them" bit.

Good to know they're still around.

thanks for all the help. I am going to give them all a shot and will report back on what i find, but it looks like i am probably going to have to go with getting some shipped.

I found the following for reference in case anyone searches this in the future (from brembo's website):

90 z32 26mm calipers = 280x26mm, 53.7 hat, 5x114.3 bolt pattern

98-00 Dodge Intrepid = 281.94x26mm, 53.90 hat, 5x114.3 **The hat is too large in diameter and the 26mm z brakes will not bolt up

93-03 Nissan Quest = 277x26mm, 52.20 hat, 5x114.3...trying these today, even though 3mm smaller in diameter should allow for plenty of caliper bite and are close in hat heights (not sure on diameter)

01 Maxima = 280x26mm, 49.2 hat, 5x114.3...hat is too short to make work i think unless you run some large washers/spacers between caliper and spindle which i am not too keen on doing

If anyone happens to have a site/place where hat diameter is recorded or shown feel free to post. It is not on brembo, advance, o'reillys, autozone, napa, or dba's website.
