![]() I found the part numbers here in this thread on Silviav8forums silviav8forums.com :: Log in I think these are the numbers The following I believe are NAPA part numbers: GAT20801 GAT21710 Those are both hoses, not sure which but you will figure it out when you get them. This is the reducer/sleeve that I used: GAT26390 Both required a little trimming but none of the cut in the middle and use 90's and all that stuff, just some end trimming. Hope this helps you guys!

I liked how clean and well built it looked. There are rarely any nice turbo Ka's since most are done on budgets. |

As far as performance, the LS1 is a great motor if that's the style of driving you have. Some guys prefer turbo setups and obviously your previous setup would appeal to some more than others, that's all. Personally, I like turbos, so I probably would have spent the money on building the KA and making 400whp off of that. Although a project I've been wanting to do was an LSX FC Vert that was smog legal. Unfortunately that's a long way away project. :P |

Thanks for all the possitive words.
as for the ka vs ls1 debate, I would never go back. If I build another 240 it will be kat for sure. For the lapping days that I like to do the ls1 just cant be beaten. It runs cooler then the kat, has power everywhere and is reliable as can be. Quote:

very impressive, I've been out of the 240 game for a while and didnt ever get that deep into, but what you've done is exceptionally clean and purposeful, just my style. So keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comments. The picked up the Works a few years ago from a vendor on this site.
I have not made any major changes but here is a small update on the work I have done to the car over break. My passenger wheel bearing had been making a little more noise than it should. After reading this article Project Silvia - The Official Guide to Not Screwing Up Your Wheel Bearings Like I Did > MotoIQ > Magazine Articles I decided to pull them apart to take a look. This is what I found You can see the pitting in the race here and the discoloration here This bearing is well past it so a new hub and bearing has been ordered from Nissan to replace it. It appears that some moisture had gotten into the bearings or possibly the excess heat from track events had broken down the waxy nissan grease. The drivers side looked much better so it got disassembled, cleaned and re greased using Neo Synthetic grease. This grease is far superior to the crap nissan uses and it is good to 800 degrees. When the new passenger side bearing comes in then it will get the same process. Re greasing these is a tedious job but one that I feel will benefit me in the long run given the track time that I plan to put the car through. ........ My new wheel bearing came in and repacked it with the Neo grease. I also made some new end links for my front sway bar. I am of the understanding that these should result in significant gain by eliminating the rubber bushings. Because of the limited suspension movement of a stiff coil over setup the sway bar does not have much movement to work with. Without the rubber bushings the sway bar is able to immediately begin resisting roll. I guess we shall see if this holds true. |

1 side is the feed and the other is the return on my setup. Some high hp people do make a feed and return for each rail. They split the feed and then use the fuel pressure reg as a y for the returns. I don't think I am at that point yet though as I am still on the stock injectors.

To each his own, both your set-ups are and were great! A lot of hard work seems to be paying off in your lap times!!!!
After seeing both of your setups im torn on which way to go myself ![]()
