Nasty top end carbon build up
So, I took off my valve cover today, and unfortunately I discovered that the top end is gunked up all to hell. What would you suggest I do about it? I'm a little weary of using something like Seafoam for this much build up. Maybe I could get it properly cleaned somewhere. Any suggestions would be great. Here are some pics I took:

That's a dirty mill! If you daily the car, just do regular oil changes with filter. I'd recommend valvoline (reg petroleum). If you're looking for the quick fix use some seafoam and do multiple oil changes after with filter.
There's no guarantee with this. Just make sure your stat is working and use oils with good detergents.

Geez looks like you got the origional oil in there! They sell CD2 oil detergent, might not be a bad idea... i would do that and change the oil whenever it looks nasty
