Seat belt light
hi i have an 89 240sx and my auto seatbelts still work but my dash light blink. it so annoying. where is the sensor for the light? i have 180sx seats but the passanger side seat the guy before me took out the lap belt buckle and idk if thats the reason. help please

The lap belt connected has a sensor on it. You have to take out the seat to get to the wiring. All you need to have is a ratchet with a 14mm socket, only 3 bolts and one nut hold the seat in. Or you can reach under the seat and see if you can get it that way.

ya sorry i dont know the site well just new to zilvia.net how would i disable it after i get to it becuase the passanger side buckle was taken out by previous owner but the drivers one is ther thanks

Should be able to just complete the circuit. Cheap way would be to just use any kind of covered wire and make it into a jumper. But do at your own risk! Any passenger still needs a seat belt!

i know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem.
after i take the seat out to expose the wiring...what do i do from there? i dont mind fixing it. i see no need to disable it. why not keep it working if i can.
