Filed under: Sports/GTs, Videos, Nissan Video of Nissan's newly-mined 7:29 NÃ¼rburgring lap time has now surfaced on YouTube. The video comes courtesy of a fan recording a television screen at what looks to be a Nissan event display. The background noise is rather overbearing, but if you crank up the volume it is possible to catch a hint of the squealing tires and screaming engine. Those are the same street tires available off the showroom floor, along with supposedly stock engine specifications. Regardless of the equipment though, the track is completely dry this time around and Nissan test...

Good vid. I've been waiting for that footage to come out. This car is surely capable of a faster time. There were parts of the course where Toshio held back. Good lap nonetheless.

I doubt he was holding back. I think its nearly impossible to rate his driving based on that video as Nurnberg is a very demanding track and I doubt he is on slicks. One mess up and you are pretty much dead.... I think he hit the lines pretty well and for street tires what else can you say.
