98 Ka24DE Drive Cycle?
Swapped back a 98 KA24DE into my 240sx, everything is replaced and should pass smog now, but everytime I go they tell me that I still need to complete a Drive Cycle to pass. I have driven the car on the freeway, streets, freeway and more street and I still cannot get the "Full Drive Cycle." Anybody know if there is a more specific way for me to get this done?
Thanks. |

There is a certain tests you can go through to trigger the codes faster to cycle.. it's a bitch tho.. i'm sure you're done now.. but keep driving.. turning off.. turning on.. shouldn't be too much driving.(unless you have a bad evap purge *control* valve or someish like me)... GL...ill be doing this in a month aswell

google the LA emmissions test pattern, all stupid sensors are suppost to record values at predetermined situations. basically as dumb as it sounds the dyno pattern was a representation of the programmers drive to work and back.
