As bad as it is.... its still cheaper than over in Europe... about the same as Canada now tho I think? We used to be cheaper than them. meh.

I remember gas stations when I was in high school being as low as .97 cents a gallon. $1.50 was considered high. I used to find change from anywhere I could to pull together some cash and get enough gas to out with my friends for the weekend... lol.

Do diesels really get double the gas mileage of gas cars? like 50+?

didn't pay attention to the rate this morning... but I got 13.xx gallons and paid $45.xx. so I guess that's in the neighborhood of $3.45. Northern NJ BP Premium 93.

I have a 03 TDi jetta. I'm pulling 600+ on city driving. Yes diesels are worth it.

I remember that diesel always was cheaper than regular. Now I get just about as screwed.

Fuel prices are high because the gas companies don't care about you and me. Not at 33 billion a quarter in profit. The feel of inflation is happening really bad cause of fuel prices.

Need electric cars to come to market. They are perfect commuters.

woow, i wish we were paying that much up here in canada, $3.50/gal for premuim, thats turn out to be around 0.92 cents per liter, right now we paying about 1.35 for 91, if my math is right thats like $5.20/us gal........
