Or above depending on how creative you are. I mounted mine above the radio.

Edit: If you flip the lens you can get the the gauges to aim to the driver unlike the original RHD position.

What does the harness plug in to? Are any further senders needed - or is this a plug & play package?

it's only plug and play if you have the JDM under dash harness. On the back of the cluster each sensor wire from the plug is labelled. The only 2 you have to worry about is the
boost pressure sensor wire - use the one that you got in the swap. Cons- it only goest to 7psi.
and the oil pressure sender
