If you ever choose to go for higher boost pressure and/or higher power goals you wont have to switch out. Depending on your turbo and boost pressure, if your WG is too small it will cause the turbine (on the turbo) to spin excessively due to back/overpressure. With a 44mm you have some wiggle room even with the smaller framed turbos.

Talking with Freed, I also have -8an feed line, and -6an return. He told me this should be fine for my power goals of 650-750whp. I have a single Bosch 044, and would like to add a 2nd towards the end if needed. I have to decide on having them both Y into a -8, or run two seperate -6 lines to a dual feed rail.

I need a new return line because it was rubber and its going bad so I wasn't sure if I should get another -8 steel braided or bump both up to -6 but thanks for the help man I'll run a -6 return and keep the -8 feed line |

I've got a JDM Sport Ebay manifold for a whopping $95. Surprisingly needed very little massaging on the flange at all, really could've bolted it on as is, but I opened up the wastegate and ports a bunch with a die grinder to maximize performance/flow. You're not getting anything different with an OBX for 3x the price, so save yourself some cash, it's a cast manifold and it's more than likely going to outlast anything else on the car.

Walbro 255 will not push the limits of a -8 line....you have plenty of wiggle room.
@Boosted....I have a -10 line running to the front of the car then splitting (Y) into dual -8 lines into my FIC -8 Dual Feed Rail. Kept the stock return which is -6. @AFRACER....I agree. There are plenty of threads about the log and tubular manifolds on SF. I have seen multiple 800+rwhp setups running the "El Cheapo Tubular Manifolds" with little to no modding needed. @PG....No problem I will share whatever info I can provide. Been doing research on this build for over 3 years spending countless hours reading posts.....feel like a real winner writing this lol. |

#1 - wastegate port size. every cast manfold that i have ever seen for the 2jz has a 38mm size wastegate port flange and cast material is not easy to weld onto either if you are thinking about opening it up and welding on another flange. #2 - tubular vs. log style manifold. both can make awesome power but their shape and design place the turbo, wastegate and downpipe in slightly different locations. |

i used the factory S13 240sx one (I'd assume S14 is the "same") I had to cut and weld a little extension onto A340 shift linkage and it worked, i'll see if i can snap a picture if you need.

Also used the stock auto shifter, cut the end of the 240sx shift rod off and welded it at the proper length onto the Aristo shift rod. Then had to drill a new hole in the shifter where the rod mounts up to a little higher to get the pendulum/arc correct (otherwise if Park is Park, 1st gear ends up somewhere around Neutral on the shifter). I thought I wrote this up a page or two back...

thats not a bad price for drop in and go, Suprastore has had alot of bad reviews though! so be careful. Also it doesn't say what company any of the parts are, So it could be all Ebay stuff grouped into a package deal. I built mine using Earls/Aeroquip stuff for >$300

Can someone please shed some light on where in the hell im supposed to get this adapter
I need a -8an to 12x1.25 adapter I found a -6an to 12x1.25 adapter on drift motion.com But I cant find a -6an female to -8an adapter All i find are -8an to -6an reducers So Im looking for ether a 1. -6an to -8an adapter to work with the driftmotion adapter fitting for the stock 1jz rail or 2. Im looking for a -8an to 12x1.25 fitting. Thank you to anyone who can help me out with this. I also asked before but ill ask again, I also need to find a 12x1.25 Banjo fitting for -8an Ill be running -8an fuel lines for feed and return, ive decided against mismatching sizes for feed and return and now need a Banjo Fitting. Or am I aloud to run a 12x1.25 AN Fitting directly into the stock fuel pressure regulator instead of a Banjo fitting, If someone can assist with this also it would be greatly appreciated. |

hell, i was even thinking about removing the stock piece that has the oil filter mount and getting the correct size piece so that i can just thread my oil filter directly onto the block. guys say that doing this will increase your oil pressure ~20 psi. if you ask me serious oil cooling only comes into play if you are road racing like doing laps around a circuit. |
