JDM S13 -> 180sx Digital Clocks Wiring Question - PLEASE HELP
Hey Guys really need your help with this
I got these clocks from a 92' JDM PS13 Silvia - They were fully working when they came out of that car. I bought them as I would like to fit them to my JDM zenki 94' 180sx - As both cars are zenki silvia 13's i thought it would be a plug and play type job When i fitted them i found that the majority of the plugs did plug right in but i was left with 1 plug on the loom spare and 1 plug on the cluster spare. When i connected up as much as i could i had all the analog signals working (warning lights, full beams, oil, temp, petrol and rev counter) - but i didnt have the digital screen nor did the clocks illuminate when i turn on the lights. Also the HUD connects fine but there is also no power going to it. I took a shit load of pics so hopefully someone on here can point me in the right direction to get these working I know that in the kouki model 180s the dash loom was changed but the zenki silvia and the zenki 180 were supposed to have the same dash loom Anyway i got the loom from the silvia with the clocks and im still left with 2 random plugs So here goes These are the normal analog clocks that came in my car And this is the 2 connections that connect it into the rest of the dash loom This is the digital clocks i got with loom These 2 connections are the exact same as the ones on the analong clocks so they plug right in Now the white and black plugs plug right in and thats whats giving me all my analog signals im guessing (the port below the black plug on the far right is for the HUD which i also have and it fits perfect) I am left with a white plug on the actual cluster with 1 green wire running into the back of where the digital dash is - there is nothing else left on the loom or the car to plug into this - im kind of thinking this is for the digital read out on the clock?? Also on the loom that came with the Digital dash i am left with a random black funny looking plug that i cant find anything for either - it has 2 wires a green and a grey - this runs on up to where the 2 main plugs plug into the loom Just wondering if anyone can help me out as to weather im missing anything or is there a certain way this has to be done Any help at all is very much appreciated Thanks Matt |
