Coils are soooooo Worth it, because you'll get to control 100% of the ride.
I'd save for coils

well, I bought mine as an auto, but immediately threw in an s14 SR after a month of driving it lol
I'd make sure the Timing chain guides have been removed then go for the 5 speed swap and have some fun with it

youre most likely going to need a new water pump because the rust is probably from the fins, but the radiator should be OK with a good flush, just make sure you flush it all before you replace the water pump

thanks il take pics tomorrow of the rust. My sunroof needs the weatherstripping but it doesn't leak. can i just buy the weather stripping or do i need to buy the whole glass part which comes with the weather stripping like my local 240 specialist said?

it depends if you have the clips all around the sunroof, they are an off white plastic looking thing, and if you dont have them... you'll most likely have to buy the whole glass, or try and 'jerry-rig' something. keep in mind the weatherstripping is ridiculously expensive.... but it can be bought separately, try courtesyparts.com

ive had my 240 for a year and a half and havent had the weatherstrip on it at all

it leaks a little when it rains, nothing crazy... but going down the highway the wind noise is annoying, so i just leave it up at an angle. and no, no rust none of the water pools up enough to rust. the car sat in the lady i bought it from's driveway for a year, so it probably hasnt had trim for 3+ years

i just fixed my ac which was working on only level 4

lol check out the old resistor, pretty nasty huh?

my 240 smells like gas outside when its running, the previous owner said he cracked the gas tank and put in a new one, also the fuel gauge doesn't work it stays near empty and barely moves when i put gas in, i just wait for the gas light to come on to fill her up

does anyone have any tips to fix this?
