Ctsv brake swap help
I did the 05 Cadillac ctsv brake swap and put all the parts in last night, passenger side was done first, I used an APM racing Evo 8 rotor and mazworks bracket, ac delco caliper and pads, and z32 brake line, passenger side came out great, when I got done putting the driver side together with all the Same parts the rotor rubs on the caliper, any one have any ideas or similar issues? Should I dremel the caliper? I double checked and the bracket is sitting flush against the caliper and knuckle

Post pics, there's a chance someone could point out the problem visually. If it were me, I'd take a micrometer and measure every component to check for differences, especially the brackets. Good luck

I actually just took the caliper off and grinded it down some more for the bracket and it cleared, IMO I should have gone with the ctsvbrakeswap. Com brackets because you don't have to grind offf so much

I also got the CTSV 4 pots calipers with Mazworx brackets.
Had to remove pretty much before I could mount the bracket onto the caliper. Already working like this for more then 3 years so it shouldn't be a problem. |
