Moving Back To Cali
Well I am finally moving back to Cali and im coming back with my 240. I am moving to San Diego to start school, not sure how big the 240 scene is out there but I have seen a couple meet threads. Anyways here are some pics of the car. Not much done at the moment, Greddy Type-S Coilovers, RUCA's, Inner/Outer Tie Rods, HKS Exhaust, Short Shifter, 2" Radiator/Electric fans, Silicon Hoses and more little stuff here and there. Next step when I get to cali is a rebuild with brian crower 2.6l stroker kit and cams. .
New rear bumper, just waiting on the spoiler and the paint and the body is done. . This was before I put my spacers on when my offset was a FAIL. . |

Well not originally from SD. I was born in Huntington but id rather live in SD. I think im just going to get a bike with a surf rack on it and ill be good to go lol. I am more worried about my friend who is moving out there with me. He has a s13 with a SR and I know he is going to get shit. Only positive is he can keep his registered in Kansas. Anyone know how hard it would be for me to keep it as texas? Can I just say im only out there for school and keep it registered in another state?

Damn dude, lucky. I left socal to move to Tn, then moved to Texas. God I miss home.....I believe you can keep the plates. Just don't get pulled by the same cop, or tell em you're working on getting it smogged.

Yea SD is hot right now. They were given $600,000 or something close to that to start cracking down on modded and polluting cars. Days after they were granted the money chula vista issued out 30 ref tickets in 1 day. I've also seen a honda on the 56 with its hood popped. I also talked to another guy who was going 15N Escondido area and CHP asked him to pop his hood. They gave him a ref ticket and took pictures of his engine. Keep it quiet and stock or get another dd.

I've lived in SD for a year now with AZ plates, and a semi noisey exhaust system. and have only been pulled once. Of course they really can't do too much when you have out of state plates, I claimed to be just visiting. You should be ok, especially if you keep your TX plates
