Haha, I had like a 2.0 GPA in HS too. I didn't even try, but I know that when I take courses that I'm interested in career-wise, I will do well. Don't worry, there is always a way.

Oh yeah, college is a breeze.
My tests this semester: Physics 68 51 58 Calc 57 31 69 MaterialsScience 82 81 34 But I go to a hard school, so I tell myself it's ok (actually, it is ok, because none of it is related to my major right now).

the only way to succeed at ANYTHING is to be interested in it. without passion, you won't do well. as long as you're taking classed you don't like, the grades will obviously suffer. my advice:
do your best, take the SATs/ACTs if you want, graduate, and then take a year off if you need to. the WORST thing you can do to yourself is to go to college "undecided". that just leads to a year or more of floundering in retarded classes. trust me. i have MANY friends that did that. they regret it so much. i'm 24 and getting my Master's, and some of them are still not done with their undergrad. so, while you take time off and get a job, work on your car a bit and then take some classes in different subjects at a local community college. if they suck, drop it. if you like it, keep going, and try to get the highest grade in the class. see how far you can push yourself. once you find something you like, go to college for it. good luck, Eric

Sorry to be the nerd.
My advanced senior courses: Algebra and geometry: 88% Calculus: 93% Finite math: 92% Physics: 90% Computer Studies: 93% English (Blah!): 92% <-- No idea how I pulled that one off And.. *mumbles*.. Chemistry: 75% <-- Evil teacher Now I know I'm gonna get flammed, lol.. but I like math and science. If you really want to do well, all thats needed is paying attension in class and doing ALL the homework. I know that sounds like alot, but it's really worth it. If you need any last minute help on math, lemme know. *Trips and breaks glasses, gets a nose bleed, and spills ear medicine* Dammit!

Well, if you drink less vodka, maybe your gpa will go up
Honestly though, i graduated high school with a 3.14 GPA not studying at all (eg, i went to all classes, yet practically never opened the book. whatever i learned in class was goood enough). As for college being a breeze, lol our teacher in data structures corse takes the median/mean grade on a particular assignment and makes it a B/C cutoff. Last test the average was 40.... thanx to a couple geeks who got in the 90s, cuz the rest of the class had like 30-35 |

you'll be alright. make yourself go to college, and when you do, dont study at home, go to the library - this way you can pass and make good grades/gpa.
