Turbo good or bad?
Hey guys i hope im posting in the right place. so i just picked up a 89 240sx hatch with an sr20det with the stock t25 and iv got a gt2871r from twisted motions that the guy threw in on the deal. im just wondering what to check for to make sure the t28 is good? i checked shaft play and theres little to none and the turbine spins pretty freely, anything else i should be checking for?
thanks in advanced for the help guys! Dylan |

Excessive or oily looking exhaust housing. Also any score marks? In and out shaft play should be minimal if it's moving a fair amount might be concerning. But as long as the wheels Don't touch when you spin it from side to side it should be good to test out.
