sr20 clutch fan vs efan

I heard using Efans would unload the crank big deal... but I am worried for my engine safety. I am using a controller with a temp sensor in my coolant hose...

I've read horror stories about efans wiring leading to engine failure...

What's the real gain on switching to efans? cooling power?

I am thinking of bolting the old clutch fan and the shround back on...

LMK what you guys think!

proven fact
clutch fans are better
at our local tracks the guys with the efans have to hot lap 1-2 times after 3 runs where the clutch fan guys dont have to and can just idle
