sr20det jumped backwords and wont start

I just bought an s13 with a blacktop sr20det swap. The guy said he accidentally jumped it backwards and now it wont start. Im thinking its something minor but he said he tried changing the fuses and that wasnt it. First thing im going to do is switch out the ecu and change the fuses again. Any other ideas of what I should try? Any help is very much appreciated.

Probably the ecu. I would double check the fuses then replace it.

Think he meant jumped the battery. I'd double check all the fuses, relays and maybe check the wiring for something burnt before I'd slap another ECU in it. Its not unheard of to blow an ECU this way, slap another known good ECU and blow due to something in the wiring get fucked from the jump.
