I've got an s13 w/a vlsd pumpkin (2 way inside) and am installing a q45 pumpkin instead. An s15 hlsd is going in and I have a few questions you guys may help out with.

q45 pumpkin out of a '97...As far as I can tell, rear cover has to be swapped, and front solid bushings have to be installed. Nothing new here...

I want to know if anyone has any experience leaving the q45 input flange and running into rubbing issues w/the exhaust or sway bar (thicker than OEM problems?).

2nd question is, if I start tearing both pumpkins apart, can I swap ring and pinion gear w/no problem? I've been reading something about needing to machine pinion washers but don't know if perhaps I'll have what I need from both sets of guts.

3rdly; cheapest source for front diff mounts?
