Great dogs, cute pup! My advice, train train train. Stop the chewing and the jumping immediately. Keep in mind, you have to train people as much as the dog. Roommates, guests, kids, etc.

Best dogs in the world imo, agree 100% with 5280vertDET
train them straight away with little treats (tiny bits of sausage works wonders)
they learn so fast its amazing, and very rewarding (I find)
my Alfie is pit/staff and 1/4 Akita and shares house with B my dalmatian and Kit the worlds most annoying cat, the cat rules the house
you can't beat their loyalty and companionship

Give it alot of love, attention, and establish dominance as the alpha early.

An easy way to establish that youre the alpha is to play games with it but constantly win, like tug of war.

Doing this will make the dog behave and obedient. This is what I did when I adopted my pug almost 2 years ago. Dude was a little shit when I first took him home.
