Anyone from Zilvia live there? I'll be in Ube-shi.

I do but in a different city which is about 1:30 North by Sanyo Expressway. I use to know a few people from Ube and had great times there and Yamaguchi city. At the time not many foreigners there besides the occasional school teachers and I think they have a company there that bring a few in as well. You'll be close to Kyushu so thats a plus. Fukuoka is one of the most modern/western cities in Japan.

I'm a bit away in Ehime (on Shikoku Island...) Are you in the military or teaching...or other..?? You should have a pretty good time in Japan though...as far as the mecca for Silvias....
