All the stock stuff is very strong and would of worked just fine for the power it was making however I knew the pistons were worn out and loose hence the over bore and upgrade. Like I said this car is sold and I'm working on the plan for a Ls fd build. Going to look at a shell tonight. Gonna take all I learned from this build and build one bad ass twin turbo Ls Rx-7. Will post a link here when the build thread becomes available.
