I bought the car used and it had 195/60/15 tires on it. I used to own a 1989 SE and it had 205/60/15s on it. What is the correct stock size? Both cars have the alloy rims (if this makes a difference). The reason I am asking is because I want to upgrade to 215s but do not want to change the speedometer too much. TIA.

I believe baseline came with 195/60/15 while SE's came with 195/60/15's up front and 205/60/15's in the rear.
215/55/15's would be the right size. Although 215 is a tad wide for the stock rims, it'll still work. (Edited by LanceS13 at 6:13 pm on Aug. 28, 2001) |
