Sr20det: Too much Fuel at Idle? (afterburn)

A few days ago my car started getting afterburn at idle and when I shift. Too much fuel? All the times it did this it was cold out, always under 40 degrees. Does the car just not like cold weather?

Its still on a stock tune, s15 spec-r t28, stock injectors, fmic, 255 fuel pump, and 3" full exhaust.

I figured out what was wrong: the spark plug for the number one cylinder split into two pieces. That's why fuel wasn't being fully burned.
