I did some search on this subject and 98 Altima and Q45 seem to be identical brake rotor except that Q45 has 28mm vs. Altima's 22mm.
That is 3 mm difference on each side of the rotor and I am wondering if this would be safe.
Does anyone know how much caliper pistons extend? Can they reach rotor without pads in?
Give me your opinions.

That's the first thing I saw too but they have not tested it.
They are saying it doesn't work because its thinner.
I've read about people that actually tried it so I am confused.
I'm just worried if caliper piston would not reach the rotor when the pad is worn because rotor is thinner.

well... it's not hard to redrill q45 rotors to 4 lug. You can do it yourself with a 5lug rotor (to plot the dots) and a nice drill press.

Did mine in 20 minutes but ended up selling them.
