Aspects I don't dig? The anime style. Its so damn played. I understand its a hybrid of styles, but the anime stylings really stick out. Why not push for that same artistic style of Joe Quesada or Jim Lee?

i'm hopeful but remain skeptical
few good things seem to ever materialize out of US shows
first impression is that it looks just as bad as that Iron Man and Wolverine anime shows

The anime style doesn't bother me because I don't watch any other anime cartoons so it looks good to me.

I'd like to see a Jim Lee style cartoon though. That would be sweet. A real gritty (maybe on Showtime or HBO) Deathblow cartoon would be cool.

this is awesome!! im really looking forward to this, i hope they use a very consistent story line to make this even better, on the other hand it is kinda messed up when you think about what happened to the original writer of the Thundercats, he made no money and died broke last year i think.

Anyone else watching the debut right now?

I watched the originals when they came on last weekend leading into this, and openly questioned WHY we loved that shit so much.
I am watching now, and the non anime fan in me is finding it difficult to love this, but it is not terrible yet.
