you would be ready for htm. just take it 1 corner at a time. I would not try to link the down hill untill you are comfortable with your transition....work on the up hill side...it's a real fun track to learn. just bring plenty of tires. and try and drift every turn.
give charlie a kiss for me...I know he misses me on the inside. |

Thanks David...I don't know what HTM is like and don't want to be in over my head, or worse yet, fuck the car up even more. LoL Since you seen what I am capable of, it good to know that I SHOULD be okay at HTM.
When you say "bring plenty of tires", is the surface like Balcony? Seems like Balcony doesn't eat away alot of the tires. Or is it because you will be drifting alot more corners? (longer course?) So is 1 set of tires (4 tires) good for HTM? |

lol thats soooo funny. and if you want to drift all over the track, I would bring 2 sets if you can (8) tires. but if you are conservative, and drift one of the major sections, you will be fine on a set....htm is just sooooo fun, that you are gonna wanna try and drive all of it. Especially when you see these guys manji up hill, link the down hill, then follow them all the way through past the water tower....it makes you want to do it. I've never learned more from a track, probably cause the up and down, different banks, and the thought of drifting a mountain side is fun too. I mean, watch the asb videos, they are sooo dope. and charlie holds a legit event. is henry still instructing these charlie? |

i've never ever used 8! i've used about three pairs, and that was not caring about tire conservation...

I only said 8 cause I wasted 6 tires in my ka....and i was learning, so I drifted everything.....coming up the backside to the super little first gear keywhole....to the top corner, the bottom...maji up hill (couldn't link it in my ka) and then all the way through the water tower...keep in mind...ka...no over heating. A set should be fine for you as long as you aren't being wasteful. And one set I destroyed quick...fucking nankangs suck balls!
and a set of FEDs will last all day at htm. Not trying to scare people away. |
