Glad to see the cd009 trans does fit after all, I guess the first guy that tried to do it didn't really care to make it fit.


I love how now that I own a cd009, I can basically run any engine/chassis combo I want now haha. 2j, sr, v8, etc.

Can we talk about mk4 surpas and how barley anyone in the states has style with them? I'm tired of seeing the basic highway/drag setup surpas with there stock body and big drag slicks. When I think of MK4's I just remember Orido bringing his daily driver to Best Motoring events to compete against the other cars and beating all of them.

yeah you do the laurel is a blast. not having a pillars freaks everyone out, if it is nice outside I roll the windows down and I never used to drive with the windows down in my 240.

Haha me too! But I'm gonna email gtr tonight. Get some prices. I kinda want a turbo 5 speed model but I'll take an old pop pop auto na model if the price is that much lower. I got a built ka-t I can throw in it.

Grade 4.5/B 98K 100% bone stock auto, planning to keep this car for several years and slowly build it... Pretty much to sum it up the end goal

Either OEM S2 Aero / Traum / GP Sports , Kazama auto trunk lip
Red
CD009 Swap, 2-way diff
BPU with supporting mods
FA 500's / HKS hipermax coils
undecided on wheels.... but will always have oem metal fenders so nothing insane.
And maintenance as this car will be my street car that I can go on long road trips in.
(Me and le gf are planning a roadtrip to either cali or toronto next summer)

I gotta say even though its 100% stock with a slushbox, it's great to drive.

Ah okay, cool to hear! Keeping it simple, and having a plan is the best way to not make these things stupid money pits (though it's easy).
